Overview

Andrea C. Liburdi is a trusted legal advisor with nearly 10 years of experience as General Counsel and 3 years of experience in private practice. Before practicing law, Andrea worked for 6 years as a business consultant primarily focused on technology, process, and compliance. With her business focus, Andrea provides practical legal advice and creative solutions that serve her clients’ strategic goals.

Andrea has worked in both closely-held and private equity-backed companies, and she has extensive experience advising companies on strategic matters, including corporate governance, entity management, and M&A activities. Prior to joining Axiom Advice & Counsel, Andrea led the legal departments at high-growth companies. Her in-house leadership spans from establishing the legal function in a start-up to scaling an established legal department to meet the needs of a growing company.

Andrea’s business partners rely on her to enable their businesses while effectively managing risk. Andrea has had operational responsibility for a variety of legal matters including negotiating and overseeing contracts; managing licensing and compliance; supervising litigation and engaging in pre-litigation dispute activities; managing the intellectual property portfolio; partnering with outside counsel on real estate and employment matters; directing the law department; and working with business partners across the enterprise, including HR, finance, operations, marketing, communications, and IT.
